Tax return - Service Companies Question

What is the general consensus of this forum been on the question 1 on page 4 of the tax return relating to "Service Companies".

My accountant says most of his clients have answered Yes to this one and advises me to do so.Any thoughts....

IMO it should be consistent with what you put on your P35 Q6.
(Are you a service company? Have you applied IR35?)

I put N/N on my P35 and therefore N on my SA.

But if you've put Y/N on the P35 then you should put Y on the SA.

(Edit: Really it doesn't matter anymore, we're all f****d now anyway. See FTSE threads.)

          But then again...

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) will not use the answers to Question 6 on the 2007-08 P35 to risk profile individual employers for a compliance review.

If you have already submitted your P35 and think you may have completed Question 6 incorrectly, you do not need to amend it.

If you have not yet submitted your P35, you should complete Question 6 in regard to the guidance below.
