Contract with USA but working in UK

Hi, *first post* I tried to search on this but couldn't find anything...

I have accepted a contracting role with a company in the USA but I will be working from the UK. I will be paid from the states in USD.

I just wondered if anyone else had done something similar and whether there were any extra legal or tax implications to consider.

I spoke to an accountant and she said the dollars would be treated as GBP from an accounting point of view, once the cheque had been converted.

    Anyone in a similar position?

    thanks

Did it for 4 months a couple of years ago. Had no problems at all, just remember not to charge VAT if you are registered.
    Still Invoicing

I've been doing this for years. Like blacjac I've had no problems at all.
