Some of us do. Some of us don't use accountants at all.

Why do you think you are above contributing to society? Do you not want Police? The Fire Service? the Ambulance Service?
        And that's just for starters.

        Grow up you simpleton.
Well collect charges for their services which is based on their costs / salaries. Don't take 40 percent of my money and have tulipe heads decide what do do with it.

I think what Keveen is trying to say that because he disagrees with paying too much tax he is basically going to defraud the system in anyway possible in order to keep his money which will no doubt involve putting through dodgy expenses etc. The fact is most of us are in the same boat......fact is there are many who think kike Keveen and these are the ones that hopefully the HMRC will stop. If you want more money and to claim the various legitimate expenses go limited I haven't cos I'm lazy and therefore accept I will lose a lot of my money to tax, more fool me I say!

So you want to pay tax then....

And you were arguing that you don't want to pay tax why?

Tax is a necessity, the tax system is stupid....

(I've been reading airport economy books so am well qualified on this, honest guv)

The tax system removes information as to how much things are worth, how valuable is policing to you? How much do you value the fact the fire brigade will turn up etc...?
(Yeah ok this is partly council tax rather than income tax..)

The implication that I should pay more tax the more I earn is a little awkward as I don't recieve a better service for paying more. Equally people who pay zero income tax don't get denied service. I can't opt out of the NHS; as such noone knows how much I value the NHS, or how much it's really worth.

/The above text may be safely ignored.
                  B00med!

Don't worry yourself about it if you can't follow simple logic.

Anyway. I'm non-dom so the Treasury get zero tax from me.
