    Hourly

I am considering a direct contract, only client is proposing to pay me hourly rate not daily...its been a looooooooong time since I got paid hourly, what is the situation now re IR35 and hourly rates? it used to be better to be paid hourly cuz I can charge all the extra hours I have to do normally work round delivery times etc... but have no idea what's the legal situation would be.

Many professionals charge by the hour, e.g. accountants

Don't let the tail wag the dog - take the contract, it's business.

Pretty neutral from an IR35 perspective - certainly not a determining factor.
