Hi all, just signed up today in order to post. I've read through the thread which has made some interesting reading. Like many I too could be affected severely by this retrospective change.

I've wrote to my MP and sought advice via MTM and read through what advice they have given.

I'm no futher forward in making my decisions as to how to act !

Does anybody know when the JR is due ?

I was wondering if it would be helpful for MTM to advise us to write to our local MPs too as they obvious have access to a big membership.

Yes I am. Are we confident that MTM sent all the accounts in time?

        Accounts

Accounts are all in apparently. Will take HMRC time to go through all of them - expect to receive over the next 2 months.

Am wondering when we win the JR whether we can take them to court for stress/suffering etc caused by their illegal actions ;-)

Unlikely, but it would be good to be able to punish their medieval methods in a medieval way. Brown, Darling and Brannigan () in the stocks. First shot for me.

In a couple of weeks time I have a meeting arranged with a representative from Montpelier.

Does anyone have a question they would like me to put to them?

Before you answer let me say that as a first time blogger I am disappointed at some of the vulgar and unnecessarily abusive language used in the blogs.

So if do you have sensible questions please post them up and I will do my best to get some answers.

I think a class action against them for stress/suffering would be entirely in order, I'm sure between 2000 of us we could put together sufficient funds to drag them thru the courts....
