Quickie, simple question for a Friday. On the Balance Sheet of a accounts what is the definition of cash in hand? I understand cash In Bank which is self explanotory, should ask my accountant really I know.

Its exactly what it says. Cash. Pound notes. In a contractors case that's probably £NIL unless you withdraw cash from the bank that hasn't been spent.
