    Rounding invoice amounts

Hardly the most important accounting question I know, but if after calculating VAT the total invoice amount comes out as, say, £8019.375 do you round the pence amount up or down?

    Thanks!

If you didn't learn it in school, then just set the cell in Excel to round to two decimal places and then it will do the calculation for you.

I assume that you only worked for a couple of minutes for that.
