Very true. Malvolio seems very knowledgeable about limited company business admin matters, far more so than me, because I haven't run a limited company for very long and don't intend to work out my own tax affairs but prefer to leave the complexities to my accountant.

I doubt he could outdo me on other big picture issues not business admin' related though, which probably explains why he has acknowledged to me in the past that he passes some of the things I've suggested onto the powers that be at the PCG. Not that they've taken any notice, from what I can see.

Not sure how true the last statement is, therefore, but what I do know is that he appears to have an ego the size of Jupiter and turns a lot of people off, including me, because of his aggressive tone toward newbies and his condescending manner toward all those he considers has less knowledge than him. Please use the search button to find out what I mean. There are plenty of examples. Correction.....jeezz....haven't you heard of a search button, you numpty?

Unfortunately, his credibility is seriously dented by the manner in which he comes across. So he's not really doing himself any favours here.

Maybe he will turn off some people. But not me. I just want the best advice.

It seems to me there is a small cohort of bullies rallying around each other to deflect the truth and point the problem at her, when in fact there there is no justification for it at all and only further strengthens her points being discussed here.

I don't know any of the previous history surrounding Denny, I only know her from this thread, but as stated I agree with the points she has made.

As for being aggressive myself, I'd like to think that it's only ever in self defense which is acceptable in most walks of life. I'm quite an open minded person, and a bit of banter, sarcasm, etc is all part and parcel of a fun open forum, but like I said when people take things personal such as D69 it's time to fire back a bit.

Original train of thought here though is tackle the root problem and don't let it kick off in the first place by asking people to consider their words and mannerism before clicking submit? Everybody here can play some small part towards a collective objective, why can't we do it without conflict?

What I think this board needs is a few democratically appointed moderators who will close/delete threads where it has been deemed 'newbie' or 'lazy' in order to improve the quality of the content if that is the bone of contention generating the inability of self restraint within certain individuals.
