Havent recieved VAT return

I had this problem last quarter. I phoned them and they said it had already been sent weeks earlier but they would send a duplicate anyway.

Two days later I get the duplicate and in the same post the original?
Fishy or what!

Is it any wonder we pay so much tax if they have to send everthing twice.

Same here. Mine is due at the end of this month and haven't received the green form yet.

May be the returns got lost with the CD's the HMRC seemed to have lost as well http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programme...ox/7076106.stm

I also read in City AM that the HMRC has admitted to 41 lap tops going missing from there office in the last 9 months, they do seem to loose a lot of stuff.
