sick of umbrella companies, want to go back to limited but in bit of a mess

    Sick of umbrella companies now,

was with contractorumbrella for three years, they were good all up to my last contract through them where i had some problems with expensies and i felt the way that it was handled the company had lost what made it unique in the first place a good client relationship.

Now with my current umbrella company(not naming them yet as they owe us a lot of money) have found out im owed a lot of money and if i hadn't of enquired about somethign else , i would of never of found out and this is a problem going back two months.

I want to go back to limited , but have a problem with a failed business attempt a year ago through a limited (non IT related ) and need to get my affairs back in order (in a horrible mess to be honest).

    So my question is,

is it worth / or do they even do? contacting one of the contractor accountancy firms and seeing if they will help sort out the old ltd and set us up back in IT ?

or is it worth getting a general accountant first , getting the old limited rapped up and settled, then going back to one of the IT's one

Working...
