2days/week at client with 2yr rule

    Hi all,

I've been working with the current client for 18 months and they are looking to retain my services for another 6months-1yr for a new project.

At the moment I work at the client's site 2 days a work, with the rest at home office.

Would the fact that I work less that 40% at the temporary workplace mean I can still claim for expenses even after accepting the project?

    Thanks for your help,
    Toffnana

You can still claim your expenses as the two year doesn't apply to your circumstances for the reasons you mentioned. I'm in the same position... 2 days on-site and 3 days at home. SJD accountants confirmed it for me.
