    Proof of earnings

I am going through a remortgage at the momemt and have been asked to prove my wifes earnings. I give her a small salary and some dividends each month from my ltd. Are payslips ok? If so, can I get a template anywhere?

Ask your accountant to prepare a letter confirming the income from the company.

Certainly do if they were employed by the company in the previous tax year....if a new one, then accountants letter would do.

Quite often, the mortgage companies also ask for the confirmation letter if they're also shareholders to confirm any other earnings such as dividends.

Just called the accountant and they are sending a letter today. Many thanks for your replies.
