I'm working on some code that I think I should be able to sell to a few companies globally and am wondering what's the best way to get paid for this business to business. I have my own limited company. I don't think Paypal would look too professional. Any ideas?

Just send them an invoice like you would an agent.Originally posted by BillHicksRIPI'm working on some code that I think I should be able to sell to a few companies globally and am wondering what's the best way to get paid for this business to business. They will pay you either via cheque/CHAPS/cash/baked beans/whatever. I dont think you will find many companies who pay by credit card. -
If it's software on the scale of winzip, they'd probably want to put it on individual people's company credit cards.
If it's software on the scale of SAP, you're looking at CHAPS.Comment

Thanks for the replies. So invoice them with my bank details and that should be it for the CHAPS payments? And what do I about VAT? Do I add VAT to an invoice for a non-UK company?Last edited by BillHicksRIP; 8 June 2007, 12:12.Comment

Don't get hung up on paypal being unprofessional - they are trying to pushing into other vendors. Getting yourself verified etc will help.Originally posted by BillHicksRIPI don't think Paypal would look too professional.Drivel is my specialityComment
