Is it easy to change accountants

Is it easy to change accountants ? How do you go about it ?

Easy - find a new one and they should be able to sort out all the professional clearance and stuff. Might be polite though, to tell the old ones you are leaving them!

Just changed my accountant after 5 years. It was a tough decision, but increasing his fees by 30% seemed a bit excessive and it had to be dealt with as that kind of behaviour just ain't right.

You need to find a new one first, agree service and pricing, then have a polite conversation with your current accountants to say you have found an alternative accountant who offers better value for money ... oops a more appropriate service!! Then your new accountant will sort out the transfer.
