Easy - find a new one and they should be able to sort out all the professional clearance and stuff. Might be polite though, to tell the old ones you are leaving them! -

Just changed my accountant after 5 years. It was a tough decision, but increasing his fees by 30% seemed a bit excessive and it had to be dealt with as that kind of behaviour just ain't right.
You need to find a new one first, agree service and pricing, then have a polite conversation with your current accountants to say you have found an alternative accountant who offers better value for money ... oops a more appropriate service!! Then your new accountant will sort out the transfer.Heaven is a place called "Invoice Paid"Comment
