Can I pay myself a monthly dividend?

I'm self employed and am thinking of setting up as a limited company. But can I pay myself a dividend every month???

Yes, yes you can. I'd however expect to see that seen as a hidden salary by HMRC. I mean its not like "monthly AND dividends" returns may search results is it.

    Stay permie.

Nothing at all to stop you having a monthly dividend, the only criteria is that they are paid from profits, so provided you can show that you have calculated this on a monthly basis, monthly dividends are fine.
