    Tax on dividends

As far as I understand, normal salary (and any dividends) are considered personal income, therefore the aim is to keep this income less than £40k to avoid the higher level of tax.

So that means the rest of the money my company makes is in the business account. Is there any way to move this to my personal account without attracting any additional taxation? And, out of interest, what happens when the company shuts down and I move to permanent work? I guess that's a bill tax bill I'm going to pay when I move it all back to my personal.

Been scratching my head about this, but can't figure out a way out!

    Would appreciate any pointers...

Have you considered a Contribution to your personal pension fund as this can be put into your personal name without any income tax or NI problem.

In addition presumably you have considered having mobile phone in a Company Name + also have you thought about nursery vouchers?
