    Moving from Client/Agency/MSC to Client/Limited??

I worked for 8 months in the UK last year as contractor on a job I got through a recruitment agent. The contract I was on was one of those end-client does a contract with agency, agency does contract with my MSC-type arrangements. The contract was set up so I fell outside IR35.

I'm going to be returning to the UK soon to do some more contracting, and this time round one of the leads I'm following up is something I've arranged through my own contacts (i.e. no agency involved).

Now I gather that the Budget changes all mean I have to set up a Limited Company now rather than using an MSC.

But what I want to know is, is it possible to contract directly with the end-client (i.e no agency middleman)?

And if so, how easy is it to set up? In terms of the getting the actual contract document drafted, and ability to stay outside of IR35 that kind of thing.

FYI: I'm a developer and the work would be developing the client's in-house system.

    Any advice appreciated. Cheers.

yes, very easy to setup and go direct to the client. suggest you go to www.PCG.org.uk, join up, download the guides, follow them. They provide all the advice, contract templates etc. that you need.
Plan A is located just about here.
If that doesn't work, then there's always plan B
