    travel expenses - bicycles ?

I have two bikes, one of which I use exclusively to cycle to and from the local station to catch my train to london everyday. If I was not working I would not be using it. Can I claim service costs and equipment (new locks, lights, tubes etc.), and does anyone or here do anything similar ?

Yes you can claim. I used to do something similar. How do you think people can afford all those £1000 Brompton folders you see every morning?
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
