the original invoice was dated 17th Jan, i.e due on 17th Feb...and they paid up last week.

the second invoice was dated 5th Feb..i.e due on 5th march...i have just recieved confirmation that this is now paid.

But you are missing the point here. The whole reason behind this thread was them asking me to sign BS*** clauses before they release payments.

anyways..i am all paid up and I couldnt have done it so easily with without this post which refered me to the EB regulations.

    thanks for all the contributions.

I see, you didn't say it was two invoices originally, only trouble getting paid for the last month. Anyway, glad you got it sorted.

By the way, one thing i learnt in this episode

If someone says to you something along the lines of

        "My legal team/lawyer/leagal advisors recommend..."

they are talking bollocks..since if that were the case, you'd get a letter from their solicitor directly...

they prey on u being the small guy with big words..

also i didnt mention, in the stern email i sent them, i cc'd my umbrella company (since it regarding them getting paid too), and that seemed to work too
