    Self Employed

    Typically, IT contractors have used limited companies. I'm a little unsure as to why this is the case over say, just being "Self Employed" or sole trading.

    Can anyone shed their infinite wisdom on this please.

    Agencies wont touch slef employed people as they can become liable for NI and Tax if they scarper without paying it. Ltd can't do that.
