Ok, to add something more useful for the OP than some funny comments, you can apply for a discretionary grant from the Bona Vacantia Division which would cover your £750. If the BVD make a discretionary grant to you, you'll have to pay them their fees of £300. Luckily, as the sum is not over £750, you then don't have to slide them a further 5%. You'd need to provide proof of ID which has to be verified by a practising solicitor so that may cost you some money too.
