I was a contractor for a long time until I took up a perm job last summer. (no longer using my limited company) Also, I'm moving to Canada this spring.
Since my limited company is an existing asset at the time of arrival in Canada, I will not be asked to pay Canadian tax on the money I get after liquidation.
Is this correct? Has anyone done this?
