Universities are struggling as the intake is so high that there are so many really stupid people trying to get degrees. How can they teach critical thinking? These people don't even want to learn they just want a degree because they'l earn more money.
It's even worse in the lower ends of health care where people get a degree without paying (up till last September).

These people don't need that level of education, but they're expected to write dissertations, to justify it being a degree, when they can't even write a correct sentence. The net result is huge numbers of failures, at huge cost, and the universities dropping further down the league tables.

We now have just a mere handful of universities in the top 50 around the world.
