OK so after reading a few threads on here I'm getting a little confused by the posts around this so maybe someone can help me

What exactly makes an individual a PSC? I thought it was someone who exerts control over the business by nature of shareholding and/or mode of operation - am I wrong? Can someone give me a definitive answer please? The more I read the less I think I get it
