    2yrs for same company

Hi - new to ContractorUK, but not contracting! Have been contracting with same client for 2yrs on 3 monthly contracts, but am now on 5th different role. Client has different sites within one town and I've spent/spend time at most of them during the working day. Does this mean I can't now claim expenses for travelling from/to the town?
    cheers

Unless they are far apart. I.e. more than a few miles then no. Also you cannot claim expenses from when you know you will be there 2 years.

You could claim from one to another. I.e. main workplace to other place in town.

You should go to the HMRC website and read the guidance.

      Start here
      http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/eimanual/EIM32075.htm
then read the links, it will tell you, with examples, what the rules are and whether you can claim expenses. It also includes definitions of the 2 year rule, 40% rule and all that
Plan A is located just about here.
If that doesn't work, then there's always plan B
