    buying health insurance from ltd?

Wondering if it's worthwhile to buy health insurance, especially dental insurance from my ltd? If so, can someone recommend a insurance company/scheme?

    thanks,
    Derek

Yes, go for it if YourCo. is an Insurance company.
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

Can be claimed yes, however you will incur a benefit in kind on this.

One expense which is worth considering is paying into a relevant life policy from the company as you will not have any benefit in kind on that.

        Info here on your question

Is it tax efficient to put private health insurance through your limited company? :: Contractor UK

I have used WPA via a CUK discount and can recommend on price and support in setting up:

Medical Cover for contractors from WPA :: Contractor UK

I think they can add dental to your health policy

If you are after better/cheaper dental care and not expecting emergencies, I would recommend you look into overseas offerings. Lots of Eastern Europe offers for dental tourism, where they arrange everything, flights, hotel accommodation and dental appointments for fraction of the cost in UK.

On the OT, as already stated you can put it through YourCo but it incurs BIK. It depends on your financials, but there is rarely a cost saving. If your accountant is any good should be able to give you the specific numbers in your particular case.
