    Is it common to get charged for 12 months fee to complete company accounts

    even if have only used an accountancy for 10 months. It might make sense given the majority of the work for a company tax year is the annual account. Just want to double check here.

    Yes.

    Rather than being a monthly charge, think of it as one big charge that's spread out over the course of the year to make your cashflow much easier to handle.

      I find it bizarre the number of people that don't get this.

      OP - they are doing you a favour and letting you pay monthly.

        Agree with the above.

        Although some accountants will allow you half the monthly fee if you are out of contract.
