Pension for wife

Good luck trying to convince anyone that a bit of paperwork/filling/support is worth 8k a year. If there isn't a job in your ltd you can't just make one up and pretend you are all above board.

Payroll and paperwork is more for my company than for yours, but it still isn't worth £8K.

What do you think is good compensation for the responsibility / liability of being a director? Non-exec directors can make a lot of money for doing nothing but attending a few board meetings.

All that said if you are fully intent on using your wife as nothing more than a tax mule then just fill your boots.

Hopefully there is a little more to OP's relationship with his wife than their tax affairs. LOL. Maybe you didn't quite mean it that way....
