I'm selling my contracting company for some IP contained within it.
The tax situation is quite complex due to multiple shareholders, shares held in another business, directors loans, dividends being maxed out etc.
I need to ensure a watertight claim for entrepreneurs releif to make the deal viable.
Does anyone have any reccomendations for a company who can help advise on this? Maybe to back up my existing accountant who hasn't been through this process.
Also a tip for free - keep your company structures simple as it can be a real pain to unpick when you need to sell!
