Hi everyone,I ve been in London for 3 years almost and for the first year I received a refund cheque from hmrc because I was in emergency taxcode, then I changed address(without inform hmrc I thought my employer would have done it)and for two years I didn't receive any tax refund even if I still was in emergency tax code. What if they sent refund cheques to the old.address? Did I lose my money? Can they send me the refund.to the new address? I recently changed my taxcode and updated the address, but what about the previous years?

If you call HMRC and make sure they have your correct address now.
If any cheques have been issued you can check this with them and ask them to cancel any cheques which haven't been cashed and reissue to the new address.Comment
