UK-USA Expat Accountant

Hi All,

I'm due to emmigrate from the UK to the USA at the end of next month.

One of my UK clients has expressed a serious interest in having me telework for them from abroad.

Can anyone recommend a good UK-USA expat accountant, with knowledge of personal tax in both countries, and an awareness of how UK contractors operate through limited companies?

Hi, I can't help with an accountant as described, but not sure you will need one with this skill set.

1. If you are emigrating you will no longer be tax resident in the UK and not therefore be liable for UK corp. tax unless you have a physical business base.
2. If you are teleworking then the tax will be due in the USA as you will be both based and billing from there.

I would think you just need to concentrate on a US accountant in your situation.
