Guys - I was contracting for a couple of years up until the start of 2013 and up until then I let my accountant do the majority of paperwork for me. Since 2013 and now I have been in permanent employment however I have just recently started a new contract last week. The time out from contracting has let me read up and give me a better understanding on how to do my own book keeping and tax returns. One thing I'm not too sure on is my monthly wage.
I had a discussion with my accountant a few weeks ago and we agreed to pay myself £10k per year and that he will send me monthly payslips. Is this something that is relatively simple to do on my own and if so - how would I process the payslips? I've had a look around the forum but can't see anything which relates.
I do admit though, the SJD Spreadsheet is brilliant, along with various templates for expenses, and dividends. I'm finding myself a little more in control than I was before - but maybe I'm wanting too much control to start doing my own payroll?
