The IR35 rules are vague & nebulous bulltulip. It does sound like control, but it's also perfectly reasonable for a client to agree terms on the basis that you will always be there for the duration. I think the control has to be at a lower level to make any sense as an employment indicator.Last edited by SpontaneousOrder; 11 September 2014, 19:56. -
I, generally, don't see any difference between perms and contractors. I went perm just for convenience reasons, but I'm afraid I have to report back that you could describe permies as disguised contractors.
The debate on contractors vs permies is a bit like the one about which side up you should eat your egg.
Personally I think it's pot luck if you were investigated as to whether you'd pass.I'm alright JackComment
