I am looking to get cover for :-

    1. Professional Indemnity of £1 million.
    2. Public Liability of £5 million

I was just going to add the PCG discount scheme, but it's taken me forever to login!

They use Randell Dorling for theirs, but as Mal says, there is a discount for PCG members.

Yep, but you're paying 20% more in taxation and fees... rather more than £200 a year then.

Caunce O Hara for me. They are more expensive, but I did know of somebody who had to claim through them and he said they were great.

If anybody knows of someone who's successfully claimed through one of the cheaper ones, I'll eat some humble words pie.

Thanks for your advice Mal. PCG insurance comes out at £334.20 compared with £289.52 for the insurer I mentioned.

Let me rephrase my question to help some people understand. For £250k of cover for a consultant with £171 revenue last year, does anyone know of cheaper PI than £289.52 from:
