    No, unless you are stupid enough to fork out £134 squids for that.

    The chicken cooks perfectly fine (basted in oil and seasoned) placed straight on the griddle.

          try this.

          drink half a tin of Super-T

          then stick the tin up the cavity - spread (chicken) legs like a tripod.

          lid on.

          proper red neck beer can chicken - awesome.

          and save yourself £133

                    This is why I bought mine ( finishing chef school pressie) and not Mr Norr (pointless gadget frenzy and not much use cookery wise)
