This is likely to get changed as more facts emerge but as one of the few that wasn't banned last night here's a summary from what I believe occurred:
RH moved Word Association and CUKHoliday:MumsNet threads to Light Relief as part of a clean up he believed should happen for the greater good.
Cojak publicly voices her opinion against this as he wasn't responding to private PMs
RH gives Cojak an Infraction
RH states he believes the threads were full of "flaming and dirge" as a reason for them being moved
MF, Churchill, I and others also say this was a bit out of order, especially as Admin (partly) suggested the holiday or atleast did not seem to disapprove or deem the thread needed moving
Cojak tells RH to back down and goto bed
RH gives Cojak another Infraction for "not keeping the discussion to PMs"
Cojak must have sent a PM to RH for the infractions, RH bans Cojak
MF announces the he and others, possibly including Admin sponsored one of the Mumsnet mob for a 100k charity walk, total was £150 or so.
This was mentioned but the context was garbled and Churchill took it to mean that MF was sponsoring CUK on a commercial basis. He then assumed publicly that this was why MF wasn't getting banned for some of the posts he made and accused MF of screwing over the forum.
MF gets slightly angry with RH and his principles
Churchill gets angry with MF
RH bans MF
RH justifies his actions with "behind the scene" events
At some point later: RH bans Churchill, most likely for this post
