Likewise, I trust that anyone objecting to tax-minimizing has resisted the urge to open an ISA?
      LOL at that comment.

Looks like they are just ignoring IR35. I wonder if Paxman could send a substitute for Newsnight...?

Silly billy, the luvies more or less all support the New Lie, so such things don't apply to them.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

This case screams of IR35 failure on so many levels. Of course because these are "celebrities" I have no doubt that they will receive different treatment from the likes of us...

I suppose it's easy to miss, but it's there at the end of many a Beeb radio show in the form of "This programme was brought to you by XYZ Productions".

I really do dread the next number of years on this island as the state appears only to have eyes for squeezing more cash out of the taxpayers.

                1) We bail out the banks without having a say

                2) We then are required to reduce the deflect, not of our making, through increased taxes - some thank you.

                3) And if 2 does not work our sovereignty shall be weakened and our defences lowered.

Is there not some button, some emergency law something than can allow us to sack the government with immediate effect?

Yep, convince the Queen to break with convention and order the dissolution of Parliament, she may be reluctant as a previous monarch who did this wound up with his head chopped off.

TV/radio presenters are more legitimate as companies than most contractors I reckon... they tend to work with multiple clients (e.g on different channels, writing books, endorsing stuff) and I bet they decide what and how much work they put in.
