Both him and Ross have an act, it varies with the intended audience.
They are both smarter than you lot I'm afraid, how much fun do you have in your job and how does your income compare?
There's more going on with these characters than you're seeing.Comment

Well, I did at first - he's getting a bit boring now.
I enjoyed his book very much, and saw him at the Sunderland Empire last year...I've DEFINATELY seen worse! I laughed quite a bit, although not as much as I thought I would.
I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate what a bunch of pretentious snobs you lot are.
Many thanks,
Sal

I agree Sal.
I find Brand very entertaining too - his live shows and his work on Big Brothers Big Mouth were excellent. He is a very observent and clever comedian who is can be both thought provoking and shockingly funny at the same time - no mean feat.
In fact, if some of the Daily Mail reading bell-ends on this website also liked him i'd be disappointed. They are exactly the sort of demographic who are so often the butt of his jokes.
I'd like to point out i'm not his boyfriend - despite having defended him twice on this website!Comment

Has nobody spared a thought for the poor sweet innocent girl at the centre of this row? Apparently she was forced to pull out of her tour with the Satanic Sluts as a result of this.

What comedians do you think we like? The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

You're right - i don't watch as much live comedy as i'd like to. Decent stand-up doesn't really come south very often - I think its a notoriously tough gig.
In answer to your question - i couldn't really care less which comedians you like. I like to think it's probably 'comedians' like Peter Kaye, Avid Merion and Al Murray though.
...but that would just be too much.Comment

Peter Kaye isn't a political comedian.
Neither is Al Murray.
My personal favourite is Stewart Lee who is a sort of British Bill Hicks, a thinking man or woman's comedian. He doesn't do naff observational comedy, or require pantomime costumes. He could run intellectual rings around that ponced up Piratey fool. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
