In trying to make everyone tge same you will ruin the uniqueness of each country.

Rarely do european nations war with each other; most post world war 2 conflicts have been civil wars.

Would a united europe have stopped them.

Normally I decide some things based on who supports them. The EU we have Juncker, Merkel, Hollande, B'Liar, B'ruin, Kinnock & the Krankies King & Fish. Now does it seem like a bad idea?

The EU wasn't much cop in Kosovo, Chechnya & Ukraine. That would of been the UN & NATO.

Quite. The EU haven't been visibly useful with the migrant crisis either, it's all been left to individual nations to sort out (badly, as it turns out). Makes one wonder if the EU could ever do anything useful or constructive in a crisis. It seems likely not. Still, they must be good for something, or our Scots friends wouldn't be wetting their pants to stay in. Can't for the life of me see what that might be, but I'll keep looking...

Well you have May, Johnson, Farage, Le Pen, Trump, Wilders, Putin, Erdogan, et. al. Enjoy it...
If people like Rupert Murdoch, Nigel Farage, George Galloway, Nick Griffin and Marine Le Pen want Britain to leave the EU. Where does that put you?

actually from Johnson onwards we get to share those idiots with the EU. Obviously you will expect us to clean up after you when the EU cocks it up!

1917 was the Russian revolution, 2017 is when PM May triggers article 50.
