Handy for the lakes.
This morning Suityou02 was showing the kids the beach from google maps, and noticed it's right next door to Sellafield.
The kids are up in arms, and citing blinky the 3 eyed fish as evidence of why they're not going in the sea.
Please can you help me reassure them it's Whitehaven and not Fukushima?
Well done you.
I'm also on vacation next week, taking the kids out of School. One week in Turkey, five star hotel, huge waterpark, fairground, all inclusive, duplex apartment, separate upstairs bathroom & twin room, double downstairs, separate room, Jacuzzi and lounge, directly out on to the pool, full transfers included just 1200 sobs for a family of four, and no three eyed fish.
Sweet.
Hope you got a good deal. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

In Japan most of the summer so taking the Wife (tm) away in September.
Current plan is a week in Zanzibar then a week in Kenya on safari. The safari stuff requires the usual chartering of light aircraft, but they charge a lot for going from Samburu to the Mara. 3 flights is about $2k.
Worth it, though.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
