    I get tons of spam on LI and just ignore them. Mostly agents looking for leads. But I used LI to tell agents to go there and look at that if they dont like readin "my cv".

    By now though, I have trusted agents that I contact near contract end, they feed me realiable deals because we established good business relationship. I work, we both get paid

    The beginning is hard to filter these knobs out.. just gotta establish good relationships and dont believe all the shiete these guys tell you

      Linkedin is for the ego, CV can't have fake roles or skills.

                    For me linkedin is really used as another way to contact you, other then email/phone. You will always need a CV to send to the client, don't think they would like just URL to your LI.
