    c++ book

    I used to have a great c++ book which went into details on such things as the structure of the v-table. This seems to have gone the way of good technical books; lost, lent or stolen.
    Trouble is I can't for the life of me remember the title or author.
    I believe it had an embedded point of view, or possibly linux kernel.

    Any suggestions what this book could have been? Or suggestions for a good embedded c++ book?
