Don't know about .net, but I've never found any genuine leaks with MFC. You can make a leak by creating a GDI object, selecting it into a DC and not unselecting it, but it's debatable as to whether that's a leak or just incorrect usage (you'd reasonably expect a C++ object to sort itself out when it goes out of scope though). Things like BoundsChecker tend to report lots of leaks in MFC that aren't really there, because MFC uses static data that's freed when the MFC DLL is unloaded, and BoundsChecker calculates it's leaks before that happens.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
