Wanted: file comparison tool that displays differences AND allows edits

Yes I know it nots free!!!

But I am an UltraEdit convert and they also publish Ultra Compare (UltraEdit Text Editor | UltraCompare file compare | UEStudio | UltraSentry).

Another vote for Beyond Compare - I use it mainly for comparing binary files but it does all sorts of stuff.
