Annoying router connection issue

    Double-checked the network card settings for speed, its set to auto. Manually reset the card to 10 half duplex and the network is now detected.

    Still not sure why the auto detection didn't kick in, but it looks like the speed setting is the issue. Resolved now, thanks all!

      Still sounds odd, the last time I set a port to 10 half duplex was to get a very old plotter to work, that NIC must be knackered.
