    Looks like it was more due to my installation of IE. Although I get the same deadends on the links you provided, repositioning the marker didn't help as it didn't change the street view.

    Looking at the same views with Firefox and I can reposition the marker properly.

    I recently installed IE8 so maybe it's something to do with that.
