Isn't it based on one of the current HTC models?Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket? -
I did one - I'm VERY impressed with it (they even fixed the first bug they found within the day, which I liked!)Originally posted by stingman123 View PostSee if you can get a "hands on" demo, I found the handset very flimsy and cheap
I saw a google car doing the steeetview maps the other day, so that might be coming soon, too

I love my new phone - although I have managed to lock the SIM card already because I got the default PIN wrong three times.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostI did one - I'm VERY impressed with it (they even fixed the first bug they found within the day, which I liked!)

iPhone all the way for me!
Great browser!
Maps/GPS is the best!
iPod is as iPod does
Only downsides are no cut&paste and battery life is not even good enough for Jack Bauer if you do anything apart from call/text people (e.g. play games, listen to music, watch videos, browse wirelessly).

The mobile networks must be getting really desperate - that's quite an incentive.

I've just moved from three after being with them for 5 years. As soon as I can move my mobile broadband from them, I will do as well.Originally posted by Badger View PostJust been emailed the deal, anyone used Excell Communications before?

There's a reason why they are so cheap.Comment

Ok thanks.
Afterthought, was that because of 3's coverage?Last edited by Badger; 21 November 2008, 17:10.Comment

Interesting, and indeed comprehensive history and review of SmartPhones from Stephen Fry:

For mobile phone, the coverage has always been good (OK at my parents, but they live in the countryside). The internet access has always been poor, though.Originally posted by Badger View PostOk thanks.

In terms of customer service, I've always found three a nightmare to deal with, bordering on rude. If you need anything from customer services, then you're pretty stuffed.Comment
