Mum friendly laptop wanted

May have to go for one when my current lappy gets too long in the tooth. Oh and nowt wrong with Vista, will do all she wants it to and it will look pretty as well. I'm sure the only reason she doesn't like it is because people constantly smack talk it when they haven't used it and really don't know what they are going on about.

I don't personally know anyone who uses it now and doesn't like it.
I might even upgrade to vista myself

When you see how Sony put a cloaking rootkit and spyware on people's PCs just for playing a CD, and remain unrepentant about your PC belonging to them, aren't you worried about what they might put on your PC if it really does belong to them before you get it?
