I'd appreciate input from anyone who has experience of applying to rent a home after a break in contracting. Following a 4 month recovery from an operation last year I contracted for 3 months then claimed universal credit for a further 3 months to the end of May this year.

Anyone thinking of claiming Universal Credit during a prolonged Job Search
Just curious if any other contractors are things of (or already claiming Universal Credit) during this recession? Or are Ltd Co directors not allowed to do this. I searched through these forums and there doesn't seems to be much in the threads about it.
