Thinking about one of these...

When was the Last Time you were Excited by Something?
A rather depressing conclusion to a conversation I was having the other night with a group of 40/50 somethings was that the older you get, the less joy / excitement one derives from things.
Is that true? It certainly can seem that way.
I look back over my life to date and...

Ever Been in a Rock Band?
I've previously posted about my involvement in Cut Double but I was wondering if anyone here is/has been in a band & has any tales to tell of their time on the road?

Now I'm sure most of you live in big country piles so don't have to worry about the pitfalls of living cheek by jowel with the great unwashed.
But a recent experience of an acquaintance of mine made my mindful of the fact that the things you need to look out for when choosing a property...Last edited by Gittins Gal; 15 June 2014, 21:56.

Attitude to Fixed Income in 2014
First, a confession. I'm a newbie investor.
That said, I'm finding the task of building a balanced portfolio somewhat bewildering and the more research I do, I find I have more and more unanswered questions.
Putting equities aside for a minute, I believe that fixed income funds...Last edited by Gittins Gal; 2 May 2014, 09:03.

Sockie increase?
Is it my imagination or does there seem to be a marked increase in the number of sockies/imbeciles posting here.
Is it because it's been raining and therefore they have more time to waste on the internet?
Will it decrease over the next week while we have some nice weat...
